YOUTH SERVICES COMMITTEES

ATHLETIC LEADERSHIP BANQUET

The Outstanding Athletic Leadership Banquet Committee coordinates with the Athletic Department at Roswell High School to provide recognition of athletic achievements for students exhibiting the high leadership ideals.

CAMP GRACE

The Camp Grace Committee supports the mission of transforming the lives of impoverished youth who participate in a week long overnight camp.

END HUMAN TRAFFICKING

The End Human Trafficking Committee is engaging Rotary Clubs from across the world to help stop the practice of trafficking children.

GRSP HOST FAMILY

The Georgia Student Rotary Program (GRSP) Committee is lead by the President-Elect each year, which provides a college student the opportunity to live with a host family for one Rotary Year.

INTERACT

The Interact Committee works with public and private school Interact Clubs our area to develop students into service leaders within our community.

INTERACT CONNECTIONS

The Interact Connections Committee connects Interact students to Rotarians to help students explore career opportunities.

LAWS OF LIFE

The Laws of Life Committee manages the local Laws of Life essay contest in conjunction with Roswell High School.

LEADERSHIP 2030

The Leadership 2030 Committee conducts a day long leadership conference for 100 students at Roswell High School.

LITERACY

The Literacy Committee will seek opportunities in our local area to promote literacy through programs and engagement.

ROSWELL ROTARY RELAYS

The Roswell Rotary Relays Committee plans and supports one of the largest high school track and field events in the state.

RYLA

The Rotary Youth Leadership Award Committee supports students attending the RYLA program to help develop future leader skills.

STAR HOUSE

The STAR House Committee supports the STAR House after school program to benefit children in need of personal development.

STUDENT OF THE MONTH

The Student of the Month Committee recognizes students from the public and private schools in our area that exhibit achievements in the classroom and the community.

TEACHER APPRECIATION

The Teacher Appreciation Committee makes public Rotary’s support of teachers in our community.

YOUNG HEROES

The Young Heroes Committee recognizes young people who have done heroic deeds in our community.

YOUTH DAY

The Youth Day Committee ensures Rotary has a float entered into the parade and enlists the support of Interact Club students to participate and students are selected to “replace” members of the Roswell City Council at the City Council meeting the Monday before the Parade and attend the Rotary meeting the Thursday before the parade.
