This was the first year I was involved with our Youth Day Parade and I can't wait to help again next year. Working with our youth to assemble the tower of hero power was a blast. Seeing kids of all ages working together to build the float out weighs the fun of tossing 400 pounds of candy to the crowd. A special thanks to Zach Fields and the committee for planning the float build and organizing the Interact volunteers.
Andy Williams is executive director of Visitor Roswell, the city’s official destination marketing organization charged with promoting all-things-tourism. Andy will provide an update on the bureau’s new direction, funding, trends and insights, and opportunities for advocacy for Roswell as a tourism destination.

We are collecting supplies to send to the Bahamas for Hurricane Dorian relief. Please bring supplies to donate to Rotary over the next several weeks.
Visit Relief.RoswellRotary.Club to view the list of supplies needed.
The weather is cooling down and NFCC is collecting coats to be ready to help those in need stay warm this winter. Bring your gently used coats and jackets to our meeting and June Brown will get them to NFCC. See June for more details or to make a donation to this worth while cause.

Our club meeting falls on Halloween this year and we have some spooky fun planned. Our Interact Clubs will be with us to kick off the year, so come dressed up to compete in a club costume contest, help us provide treats to the students and hear ghost stories from Roswell Ghost Tours. The kids will love this and we might have a little fun too!

The North Fulton Rotary Clubs are hosting a GRSP weekend and looking for volunteers to host students. This is a great way to meet some awesome kids from around the world. Hosting starts by picking your group up in Alpharetta on Friday evening and ends by dropping them off on Sunday morning to head back to school. In between you feed them breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings and join the whole group (including your family) for dinner on Saturday night. If you are interested in hosting, please contact Alex Kaufman at (404) 964-5587.

While we don't endorse any candidates nor are we a political organization, as leaders of our community we should get out and vote. Early voting is available at City Hall or the East Roswell Library from 8:30AM to 5PM 10/15-10/18 and 10/21-10/26. From 10/28-11/1 early voting is available from 8:30AM to 6PM.

We will be honoring our members who served in the armed forces or have family members who served they would like to invite to join us. After a meeting dedicated to our veterans we will head out for a tour of our local war memorials, ending with a reception at the American Legion. SEE THE DETAILS
