The tradition continued last Thursday night by installing our new board of directors for the incoming Rotary year. The weather was perfect, the band was outstanding, and our club showed up to have a great night on Canton Street.
Past DG Sheryl Greenway and DG Mary Ligon officiated the proceedings as we turned heads of the public who passed by wondering "who are those people having such a great time?" Our club supported new Peace initiative for this upcoming year to help Rotary International launch the single largest peace initiative in Rotary history. Thanks for all who came out in some Groovy clothes and represented our Youth Peace in Action focus. A special thanks to Bill and Patsy Wolff for sponsoring this years party.
As we enter a new Rotary calendar year, I hope we can turn more heads and bring in more members who want to join in our efforts make this community and world a better place to live work and play all the while having fun doing it.
