Thanks to Bruce Smith, Mindy Jones, and all of you who volunteered at the 24th Roswell Relays. The day pulled off without a hitch!
What a gift be among our young folks. You could feel their team spirit and competitiveness.
Gauging from the smiles on the winning team, Sequoyah, it was an extremely rewarding day.

Roswell Mayor Lori Henry
Prior to being elected as Mayor in 2018, Lori previously served as a Roswell City Councilmember from 2001-2009 and in 2017. She has a strong history of public service and has served her community not only on City Council but also as a member of the Design Review Board, the Community Development Advisory Committee, and on several citizen advisory groups over the years. She is the owner of a small business, H and B Promotional Products, located near Roswell's Historic District. Lori uses her business experience not only to attract businesses to Roswell, but also to apply sound business practices to government.
Lori and her husband, Karl have been long time residents of Roswell, where they raised their now adult daughter, Scottie. Lori moved to Roswell as a young adult with her parents, who lived in Martin’s Landing for over 35 years. Lori is a graduate of Ohio State University and began her career as a Cobb County public school teacher.

Steve Stroud
Steve Stroud is the Executive Director of Roswell Inc, a 501c6 nonprofit that promotes economic development through a public-private partnership with the City of Roswell. Since the organization's inception in 2012, Stroud has held this position. Under his leadership, Roswell Inc has developed networking, educational and support programs for small businesses, marketed Roswell’s Opportunity Zone to increase the number of certifications, and worked one-on-one with business owners, entrepreneurs and state project managers to retain, expand and recruit businesses to Roswell.
Over the last 3 year’s Roswell Inc has worked on nearly 300 projects, creating or retaining more than 4,000 jobs and generating more than $2.25 million in one-time generated revenue and $1.95 million in cumulative annual revenue. Notable projects include Brixmor, Delta Dental, McKesson, and 3 new business-class hotels—SpringHill Suites, Home2 Suites and Element by Westin. Stroud and his team continue to position Roswell as one of the premier cities in the region for innovative, community-minded businesses and entrepreneurs.
Let's help the Chattahoochee Riverkeepers keep the river clean! Use this link to the sign up page. No need to check out all sites, just sign up for the “Roswell Rotary Club” site on “Riverside Road in Roswell.” Take whatever spots are available – walker, wader or paddler and we will organize who has what position later.
Please email Dutch Earle at hearle@esisearch.com or call 770 403 0755 once you have you have signed up or if you have any difficulties signing up. Dutch needs to know the total number in your party and their name. Also let Dutch know if you are available to wade or paddle and if you will be bringing a kayak or canoe.
We will meet at Dutch's home: 9030 Bluffview Trace, Roswell, 30076 at 8:30 then proceed to the cleanup site!
Looking forward to another wonderful time!
