Congratulations to Kay Love and Jack Wyche as Rotarians of the Year.
For years they both have been quietly working behind the scenes on various projects for our club.
Kay has put in countless hours coordinating global grants and quietly facilitating 2 wells, latrines, and kitchens in Honduras and a huge water project completed for two villages in Panama in record time. Kay also wrote our District Competitive Grant, Wellstar Suicide Prevention.
Jack has been instrumental in leadership roles in the Roswell Remembers Memorial Day Committee, Roswell Youth Day Parade, the Toolbox Construction Class, Honor Air trips, Honor Air Basketball Tourney, as well in revamping our 911 First Responders Ceremony this year. Jack is always there to lend a hand.
Mary Trapp is our Rookie of the year. Mary took the Senior Services program to a new level, introducing Meals on Wheels, Senior Landscaping Clean Up Days, Valentines for Seniors at Roswell Nursing Home, and Senior Cleaning Baskets.
Be sure to congratulate when you see them next and thank them for their hard work in making so many projects happen.
