It was an honor for me to represent Roswell Rotary during a visit to Bulloch Hall with a French delegation considering locating their peace institute on the grounds of the Rodney Cook, Sr. Peace Park in Atlanta. The delegation has family history with the Roosevelt's and they were fascinated by the tour of Bulloch Hall. This small gesture will go a long way towards promoting peace around the world. Thanks to Bob Hagan and Lee Hollingsworth for helping me host this special event.

Bring a non-member with you to Variant Brewing and your first pint is on us. Don't think of this as a time-share sales pitch, but a casual way to introduce the people in your life that say, "what's Rotary?" to our club. This event is perfect for 30-40 year old friends, family, neighbors, co-workers or employees that have a heart for service and you think would be a great addition to our club.

Join your fellow Rotarians for a bit of fun mid-week. Bring your significant other or a prospective member. Stop by for a drink or stay for dinner either way, we hope to see you there.
On September 10, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., the Rotary Opioid Awareness Task Force is participating in a discussion panel titled “Together We are Stronger” Recovery Month Town Hall Forum. Please consider attending. We can also use help setting up. For more information, please view the flyer or contact Kym Mwansa at klmwansa@gmail.com.

The Roswell Rotary Club and the city of Roswell have partnered to pay tribute to the victims of 9-11 with a ceremony on September 11 at Roswell Area Park. The public is encouraged to join local personalities, politicians and first responders near the lake at Roswell Area Park to honor those that lost their lives. Ceremonies will be from 8:30 AM to approximately 9:30 AM. Our speaker this year is Colonel Mark D Gelhardt, Sr. a decorated combat veteran and a Volunteer Soldier, that served our country by going into harm's way when called.
