President's Message

Champion: a person who has defeated or surpassed all rivals in a competition. Championship teams are built on a solid foundation of a love for the game, the ability to overcome adversity, leadership from the coaches and the players and execution at the highest level. Perfect seasons in any sport are rare. This week, Roswell Rotary celebrates the 2018 State AAAA Champions from Blessed Trinity Football and their PERFECT SEASON!

And, sharing his experiences with us and this great team will be KSU Head Coach Brian Bohannon. He has built a program of excellence at Kennesaw State University. After becoming the first head football coach in the history of KSU, Coach Bohannon has taken the Owls to heights never seen by a start-up football program. In just four short years, Coach Bohannon has led the Owls to a 37-12 record, back-to-back Big South Conference championships and consecutive appearances in the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs. I am looking forward to hearing from Coach Bohannon on how he built a championship culture at KSU.

Championship teams are not always sports teams. Roswell Rotary is a championship team! We have a passion for what we do, a long history of engaged leaders and members, the ability to overcome obstacles as they arise and we get the job done with excellence and have fun doing it! Each week our setup team puts up the banners to remind us of our championship heritage. As each of us collaborate and work together, we reinforce our championship culture. Together, WE ARE CHAMPIONS!

Join me and a gym full of Champions on Thursday!

President Becky
