Quarterly Blood Drive - October 2022

Roswell Rotary hosts a quarterly blood drive with the American Red Cross. This event was held at Computer Museum of America. It honored Roswell Rotarian Michael Curling who had become a 100 pint donor. That evening a special After Party was held to further celebrate this accomplishment at Variant Brewing with the introduction of Blood Orange Cashmere beer with proceeds going to the American Red Cross.

These drives are open to the public and administered by the American Red Cross. 14 Roswell Rotarians were among those who donated. This blood drive resulted in about 50 pints of donated blood which will be used to treat about 75 individuals. Each blood drive needs four volunteers. Our pre-drive publicity includes members who write stories about how blood transfusions have played a huge role in treatments they have received.
