The 46th Annual Aubrey Greenway Golf and 12th Annual Hagan Cup tennis Tournaments were a tremendous success, raising a total of $195,648 for local charities. With 187 golfers and 72 tennis players, these events brought the community together to support import causes. If it was the celebrity football players who golfed, the silent auction, the wine and bourbon pull, the shotgun hole, or the $1000 ball drop from the fire department ladder truck, there was something exciting for everyone.
This remarkable achievement was made possible through the generous support of a wide range of sponsors including RRC members, local business owners and individual contributors who came together to make a difference in the community.
The funds raised were distributed to 36 organizations supporting a wide variety of local initiatives from scholarships for students to community projects both here and abroad. Notable contributions included, Child Development Academy, End Human Trafficking, Be the Voice, Homestretch, Honduras Lunches for Learning, Memorial Day celebration, The Drake House, The Star House, Senior Services North Fulton, Hope Roswell, Stand Up For Kids, Fundacion Nano in Argentina, Costa Rica Eyeglass Project, Historic Bulloch Hall, RUMC Job Networking, Foster Care Support, Groveway Community Church and Jacob's Ladder to name a few.
These events showcased the power of the community working together to make a positive impact both locally and globally
