In recognition of World Polio Day, the Rotary Club of Roswell dedicated the month of October to raising awareness and funds to support Rotary International’s effort to eradicate polio worldwide.
The club signature event was a cornhole tournament designed to bring members, families, and friends together for fellowship and service. Building on the success of prior years, the format was enhanced to allow members to participate through team sponsorships and donations collected during the club’s regular lunch meeting—broadening engagement beyond those attending the evening event. This approach resulted in more than 50% of club members participating in some capacity.
The cornhole tournament brought together approximately 80 members including sponsors, players, and supporters. This event and it's fundraising efforts brought in over $13,000 towards ending polio worldwide.
