Roswell's Semi - Annual Rivers Alive Clean-Up

Roswell Rotary supported the Annual Rivers Alive clean-up again this Spring.

At our designated area there were several volunteers including 10 Roswell Rotarians.  This event keeps the Chattahoochee River, one of our major waterways (70% of metro Atlanta drinking water) and tourism assets, clean and healthy.  An additional benefit is this is an event that we use to engage and work alongside many of our active Interact students.

Site numbers are not yet available but as a whole the project had an amazing turnout.

Program wide almost 1400 volunteers removed 32.19 TONS of trash during this morning event at over 67 sites. Roswell Rotarians led one of the sites under the leadership of Dutch Earle.
