Aire de Esperanza - Air of Hope

Project Description, Objectives, and Beneficiaries:

The project involves upgrading the respiratory endoscopy equipment at Hospital del Tórax Dr. A. A. Cetrángolo to restore its diagnostic and therapeutic capacity for respiratory oncology pathologies, including airway obstructions.

This will be achieved through:

• Acquisition of a complete rigid bronchoscopy system
• Associated tubes and forceps
• Creation of a stent bank

The equipment will restore the hospital’s ability to perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Hospital Cetrángolo is a public institution serving vulnerable populations and plays a critical role in providing free access to complex respiratory procedures that are often unavailable in the private healthcare system.

Primary Objective:
Restore the hospital’s capacity to effectively treat obstructive respiratory disease, predominantly caused by lung cancer.

Primary Beneficiaries:
Residents of Vicente López District, surrounding districts in northern Buenos Aires Province, and neighboring provinces.
