Prior to joining the Atlanta Police Foundation, Emilio served for ten years as a Special Operations Officer (Marine Raider) in the United States Marine Corps, where he led teams in high-risk environments and strategic missions around the world. Following his military service, he transitioned into the private sector, where he spent another decade in senior leadership roles across communications, public relations, marketing, and operations, helping organizations build strategic partnerships and execute large-scale initiatives.
Emilio is passionate about connecting communities with the work supporting public safety professionals and strongly believes in the power of collaboration among civic leaders, the private sector, and local communities to address complex challenges.
