President Nancy's Message

**Roswell Rotary Shines in Recent Fundraisers!**

A huge round of applause and heartfelt thanks to all our amazing Roswell Rotary members especially Frank Brown and Mayor Kurt Wilson for your incredible bids that helped our efforts in raising over $27,000 through our auction for the football foursomes, the police/fireman foursome, and the ball drop! This is a phenomenal achievement, and these funds will significantly impact our upcoming golf and tennis tournaments. Your dedication and hard work truly embody the spirit of Rotary, and we couldn't be prouder of the outcome.

Special thanks to Mary Trapp for her leadership in organizing Miss Mary’s Ice Cream Social, where our booth shone brightly and won the coveted Best Booth award! It must have been the bunny aprons and that unforgettable hot pink Pop Rock ice cream that sealed the deal—who knew it would be such a hit? Your creativity and enthusiasm made our presence unforgettable and showcased our club's vibrant and fun-loving spirit. And congrats to Lynn Dun & Aliza Gevirtz who earned Service Bunny Shirts for this event!

Thank you all for your continued commitment and for making these events such a success. Together, we're making a difference in our community and beyond!

**Exciting Upcoming Speaker and Special Tour Opportunity!**

Mark your calendars for an engaging and informative meeting as we welcome our upcoming speaker from the 911 Call Center. Join us to gain insights into the critical work that our 911 operators do every day to keep our community safe. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the challenges they face, the technology they use, and how they manage emergency situations with precision and care.

In addition to our speaker, we’re thrilled to announce that the new Roswell Mobile Command Center van will be parked outside our meeting location from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This state-of-the-art vehicle is designed to support our first responders during emergencies, providing a mobile hub for coordination and communication. Don’t miss the chance to tour this impressive command center and see firsthand the tools and technology that empower our local police and fire departments.

We look forward to seeing you there—come ready to be inspired and to show your support for our incredible first responders!

RRAH - Next Meeting is Today, Sep. 3rd!

Please join us in welcoming Rich Alterman as our guest speaker at the Roswell Rotary After Hours meeting tonight! The meeting will take place at The Artillery Room at Gate City at 6:30 PM. Rich is an EVP of Business Development for GDS Link, and he will be speaking on the importance on being a good networker and tips on how to do it, as well as discussing your personal brand.

Rich would like you to prepare a personal brand statement before the meeting as he wants this to be a very interactive meeting so please be prepared to share. You can choose to develop one based on what you feel your personal brand is today or what you would like your personal brand to be in the future. Some points to consider are: “What motivates you?”, “What are some unique things about you?”, “What are your personal values?”, and “What makes you happy?”

Click here for the guide Rich recommends using prior to the meeting. We look forward to seeing you all there!
