FAMILY OF ROTARY

Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynne Lindsey and all news should be directed to her at lynnehlindsay@outlook.com

President's Message

As we head to Jekyll for the district conference this week, I want to thank Past President Lynne Lindsay for subbing for me at this week's meeting!

Interact Clubs Share Service Projects—and Meet a Llama!

This week’s Interact meeting brought together students from the Roswell area school to share the amazing service projects they’ve led this year. From community cleanups to donation drives, their creativity and commitment to making a difference were on full display. Congratulations to our scholarship winners

  • Power of One – Morgan Whitley
  •  Stan Moses – Revie Pierce
  •  Tom Zachary – Bruno Cole
  • Tom Zachary – Colin Pierce

And as a fun surprise to cap off the meeting , Pie the therapy llama stopped by for a visit, bringing plenty of smiles and selfies. The laughter and good vibes made it a memorable afternoon

Upcoming Speaker: Philippe Harousseau Brings a Global Perspective to Roswell Rotary

Roswell Rotary is pleased to welcome Philippe Harousseau as our upcoming speaker. With a distinguished international career at companies like Coca-Cola and Procter & Gamble, Philippe brings deep insights into global business strategy and leadership. He’ll share lessons learned from leading cross-cultural teams and navigating the challenges of innovation across continents. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from a dynamic speaker with a truly global perspective.

Recognition for RHS Track & Field

We will recognize the dedicated coaches for the Roswell High School Track & Field Team.  Years ago, Coach Bob White (long distance coach) realized he has all of the stats for the Roswell Relays dating back to 1997!  So, he took some time to compile the Roswell Relays Record report.  For 2 years now we have been proud to display these records during the Roswell Relays event in March.  What a tremendous archive of information gift and recognition for this long-standing, outstanding event.  The teams/parents and athletes look for their school and/or their event(s) to see the record time/length or height.  It has inspired pictures, goals and conversations.

Speaker Phillippe Harousseau

Purpose Matters and Performs

Capitalism has generated more wealth and decreased poverty and illiteracy levels better than any other economic system in the world.  Conscious Capitalism seeks to restore the good name of capitalism, and “elevate humanity through business.”

Businesses have traditionally sought to drive profits and sprinkle a little Purpose.  Our speaker will share how businesses like Chick-fil-A, Whole Foods, Unilever, Southwest Airlines and Patagonia are proof that Profit and Purpose  do more than co-exist. Purpose-driven brands create real impact and sustainable growth.

If you believe that The 4 Way Test is a smart way to run a business, then today’s talk about Conscious Capitalism will confirm what you believe and help you lead others.

Our speaker this week, Philippe Harousseau,  is a purpose-driven CPG marketing leader with over 30 years of experience transforming brands across Beauty, Food, and Pet categories. A former Unilever, GoGo squeeZ, and Shiseido executive, he is known for crafting sharp, differentiated brand propositions that drive both equity and performance. Now a fractional CMO with Chief Outsiders, he helps founders and CEOs turn their vision into structured, actionable growth strategies. Philippe’s career was shaped by his role in launching Dove’s iconic Campaign for Real Beauty, which reinforced his belief that brands can achieve lasting success while making a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
