President Alex's Message

Hello from Pakistan-

Today I had the pleasure of joining the Rotary Club of Lahore Pakistan for a club meeting and a discussion on potential joint projects that range from a water project in a village, to polio vaccine administration, to a women’s empowerment project involving a sewing business initiative. I hope that this is just the start to expanding our club’s impact around the world.

We are also amidst our planning and fundraising for our Greenway Golf Tournament and Hagan Cup Tennis Tournament + our first ever Pickle Ball Tournament. Please sign up and help Bobby Clarkson and his teams get sponsors for our number one charity fundraiser!

I’m excited for our first meeting together on July 13th. We will have Wah Lah Catering’s initial debut and a wonderful family style luncheon together.

Have a wonderful week and do good!

Alex

RRAH Continues Volunteering at the Unity Garden

Last month, Roswell Rotary After Hours volunteered at the Unity Garden at the Chattahoochee Nature Center once again! It's always a great time breaking a sweat, getting a little dirty and contributing around the garden and greenhouses. Plus, Henning von Schmeling, Horticultural Curator, is never shy to share his wealth of knowledge about the various plants.

The next opportunities to volunteer are July 22, September 23 and October 21. All Rotarians are invited! The shift starts at 9 a.m. and go until Noon. Sign up here.
