May 11 Zoom Meeting Kristen Thompson Mentoring for Leadership

Kristen serves as the Executive Director of Marietta Mentoring for Leadership, a local non-profit serving Marietta students in 6th-12th grades. Mentoring for Leadership matches community mentors with high-potential, under resourced students. Many of the students are considered at-risk, most will be the first generation in their family to attend college (some will be the first to graduate from high school), many come from single parent homes and all of them have incredible potential--some of the work we get to do is to draw out that potential and help the kids see the value and worth they bring to the world.

Kristen lives in Marietta with her husband Luke and three kids who all attend Marietta City Schools.
