FAMILY OF ROTARY

Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynn Dunn and all news should be directed to her at lynn.dunn@rmcpa.com

President's Message
Keeping The Peace

One of the areas of focus for Rotary is promoting peace and we don't do this by fighting with each other over race, justice or the right way to recover from a pandemic. We promote peace by highlighting the good in each other, like the group of protestors who protected the police officer who was separated from his squad. I encourage you to remember the 4-way-test before you try to "win" a battle of comments on social media over one of the issues of the day. I hope that you and your family remain safe and that we see brighter days soon.

Wednesday, June 3 | 5-7PM
Hump Day At Gate City

Join us for a real life hump day at Gate City. Pat has offered us the back house so we can stay out of the sun or the rain and enjoy some delicious craft beer and some light snacks. President Gordon is buying the drinks and don't forget that Gate City now has spiked seltzers and vodka drinks on tap for you weirdos that don't like beer.

Thursday, June 4 | 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Lunch At Lucky's

Rain or shine, Lucky's will open up the Dog House for our group and the club is buying the burgers. If you aren't comfortable being with others just yet, order a meal for take out instead. We look forward to seeing you there!

Wednesday, June 17 | 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Past President's Dinner

It is an annual tradition for the past presidents of our club to get together and break bread towards the end of the Rotary year. We will continue that tradition with a dinner at Houck's on Wednesday, June 17 from 6:30 - 8:30PM. If you are a past president of our club, please RSVP with your menu selection. CLICK HERE TO RSVP or reach out to Alicia with your menu selection.

Saturday, June 20 | 11:30AM - 2PM
