FAMILY OF ROTARY

Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynn Dunn and all news should be directed to her at lynn.dunn@rmcpa.com

President's Message
Making A Difference

Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. When we set out to help other people, our goal is to make a difference.

Last Thursday we requested volunteers for Laws of Life, Blessings in a Backpack and helping seniors with yard work. By the end of our meeting, many of you had stepped up to help.  My heart was filled with gratitude.

Our club is known for its dedication to service. Once again Roswell Rotarians demonstrated that they know helping others one project at a time makes a lasting impact.

This Week's Speaker
School Work Program

Zach Fields serves as Vice President of the Construction Education Foundation of Georgia leading the K12 Pipeline team putting shop classes back in schools and connecting young people to careers in construction. He leads a team supporting over 175 skilled trade programs in Georgia’s public schools with 18,000 students enrolled.

As a former high school teacher, Zach is driven by a passion to ensure that students are connected to opportunities before they leave high school. He coordinates CEFGA’s K12 Pipeline initiative with trade associations, individual employers, workforce organizations, GaDOE, and SkillsUSA to advance and elevate the craft training programs in the state. He has previously served on boards for the Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education (GACTE) and the Trade and Industrial Educators of GA (TIEGA). Zach is a member of the Roswell Rotary Club, youth football coach, average woodworker, proud husband and father of four.

North Fulton Seniors Yard Work
Give us a hand Jan. 26th or 27th

North Fulton Senior Services has requested our assistance in light yard work for four homes in the Roswell area. Each would require about 2 hours if we have around  4 volunteers. We will need a lawn mower, edger, chainsaw, trimmer, and blower.

Reach out to Mary Trapp at marytrapp@kw.com to volunteer.

Watching the weather, we are planning on either  Tuesday, Jan 26th or Wed, Jan. 27th.
