Junior District Attorney & At-Risk Kids

The primary aim of this program is to provide at-risk middle school students with an opportunity to learn about the basic workings of the criminal justice system.

The program transports the students by bus to the Chattahoochee Nature Center, where they received a tour of the park and can observe its natural residents. The Roswell Rotary supplied lunch for the 45 participants. During lunch, Rotarians had the chance to engage with them and discuss the joys of Rotary and the concept of Service Above Self. The Roswell Police explained their role in addressing legal system violations and introduced the students to their service dog.

This incredible project was headed my Michael Hernandez.
