For over 70 years the City of Roswell has celebrated its youth with an annual Youth Day parade. This is a unique and great tradition like none other in the country. This annual parade is always the 2nd Saturday in October.
For many years the Roswell Rotary Club has sponsored and participated in this city ritual by building a float, tossing candy to the kids along the route and so much more. Each year Rotary volunteers help the Roswell High School Interact club decorate a float to ride in the parade. Hundreds of children participate and we estimate 2000 or more citizens come to watch the parade that winds down Roswell streets and shows off Rotary and our causes.
At our meeting prior to Youth Day we have the Youth Representatives from our Roswell area high schools along with the City officials they each represent attend and be recognized.
