Roswell Art Festival

This year, the Roswell Rotary contributed to the event by funding the security expenses. Additionally, we set up a tent in a prominent location to demonstrate our support and to showcase the extensive outreach of the Roswell Rotary to the community. Our tent was manned by enthusiastic members ready to provide information about our club and to extend an invitation to attendees interested in joining the Roswell Rotary.

Since its inception, the Roswell Recreation Association has been dedicated to fundraising for the Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic, and Cultural Affairs Department. Its initial endeavors included constructing the first tennis courts in Roswell, a Little League field, and contributing to the salary of the first Recreation and Park Director. In 1966, the Association launched the Roswell Arts Festival, marking the first arts festival to take place north of the Chattahoochee River, with the dual purpose of celebrating the arts in Roswell and generating funds for local recreation and parks.

The Roswell Arts Festival has been so successful; it is the only fundraising initiative of the Association.  Over the years, the more than $1 million raised have been used to help purchase park land, playground equipment, spray grounds, meditative gardens, and many other projects that have benefitted residents of all ages in Roswell.  Festival funds have contributed to many Roswell Projects.
