Roswell Rotary received $2k through a District Grant to fund the purchase of hats, gloves scarves and socks to 218 STAR house children. After purchasing the items, we packaged the items into Christmas gift bags for the children. The bagging was done after a luncheon meeting so that 100 members had the opportunity to volunteer. Another group of Roswell Rotarians assisted in the delivery of the bags to Starhouse for distribution to needy children in 3 Roswell elementary schools. We were thrilled to be able to provide necessary items to children to keep them warm during the cold season. By delivering these essential winter items children, we were able to keep them warm and comfortable during the winter season.
