Welcome New Member: Ryan Sprinkle

Backyard Farmer (ask about his tomatoes) and knows where you can find a great Bundt cake

Schools attended: The University of Alabama, B.S.; The University of Alabama School of Law, J.D.

Major: Undergraduate - Majored in economics with specialization in finance; Law School - focused on health care law with MBA coursework in healthcare management

Where you live and have lived: I grew up in Fayette County, Alabama in the rural farming community of Hubbertville. While in college, I lived in Tuscaloosa, AL for 7 years and met my wife during our sophomore year. After graduating from law school, we lived briefly in Florence, AL before moving to Alpharetta. In 2015, we bought a home in Roswell.

Spouse: Lauren Hendrix Sprinkle. Lauren is originally from Huntsville, AL. She owns and operates "A Taste of Sprinkles,"  a bakery that she runs out of our home. She specializes in Bundt cake of all sizes and flavors.

Kids and ages: We have one daughter, Sela Faith Sprinkle. Sela will be 2 in October. Her favorite activities are playing with her princesses and coloring.

Other involvement in community: We are members of Lebanon Baptist Church in Roswell.

Career: Before moving to Georgia, I practiced law in Alabama. In late 2014, I had the opportunity to pivot into healthcare management consulting. Since that time, I have worked with hospitals, health systems, and physician groups in the areas of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and financial and operational turnarounds. I am currently a Managing Director at Warbird Consulting Partners, LLC.

Interesting Facts: During the COVID quarantine period, I developed an obsession with tomatoes. For the last few years, I have grown about a dozen different heirloom varieties from seeds in a small raised garden bed in my yard.

Why you joined Rotary: Roswell and North Fulton is the home that Lauren and I have chosen, and I have been looking for an opportunity and way to better serve the community. Jerry Orlans suggested that I attend a Roswell Rotary meeting. When I began learning more about how Roswell Rotary supports the North Fulton area, it became an obvious decision to join.
