Americus Hosts Sheffield Gala

The Rotary Club of Americus is excited to host the Annual Sheffield Gala and Silent Auction in Americus, Georgia on Saturday, September 23, 2023. The latest class of Sheffield Leadership Award recipients will be honored and we will also celebrate friendship and fellowship through Rotary and invite all past Sheffield winners, 2022 Rotary Presidents, and District 6900 Rotarians who would like to attend.

There is a room block that has been set up at the beautiful, historic Windsor Hotel in downtown Americus and can be accessed by calling the hotel directly at (229) 924-1555. The Americus Trolley will provide transportation to and from the gala on Saturday evening. The silent auction and cocktail social will begin at 6 pm with surf & turf dinner and program to follow. This year's gala will be held in the Wheatley Building on the lovely campus of Georgia Southwestern State University with cocktails and the auction set up in the Rotunda.

Rotarians and their guests are invited to a complimentary brunch hosted by Rene and Angela Smith on Sunday morning, so please plan to drop by between 9 am and 11 am for coffee, brunch and fellowship before you go.
