Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynn Dunn and all news should be directed to her at lynn.dunn@rmcpa.com

President's Message

As Rotarians, together we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Organizations that have staying power evolve. It is the only way that Rotary is still here 115 years later. What started with a need to network in a new city has changed the lives of millions and millions of people. Who will you open the opportunity for this week?

Win Big At Rotary
Balls, Balls & More Balls

This week is our tournament preview so come to Rotary ready to spend as we we will have both live and online bidding for the ball drop and auction items.  There will be prizes for the team that buys the most balls. The individual who buys the most gets to ride in the bucket truck during the ball drop.

As our only fundraiser, remember our goal is to raise enough to support over 30 charities in North Fulton.  Czars Danny Broadway and Rich Austin will lead the fun!

We Need Your Help
Sponsor Our Tournament

We need the help of EVERY member of Roswell Rotary as we prepare for this years tournament, September 14th.   Join the Golf & Tennis Czars every Thursday at 11:15AM on how YOU can get involved.  Live at the Holiday Inn or via  ZOOM   https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88325965247

You may also   Simply click here to access the commitment form to purchase a sponsorship or ticket to one of our great tournament events:

Bring It On

We are collecting Auction items for the Golf & Tennis Fundraiser. Contributions of wine, dark liquor, mountain and beach retreats are very much appreciated.

Please call/text Mary Trapp at 770-645-1320 to pick any contributions. We will also be collecting items at the meetings.

Let It Flow on Aug 27 & Sep 17
Why Roswell Rotarians Will Be Donating Blood (1st date full; 2nd date available)

"I was diagnosed with multiple melanoma 9 years ago," shared past RI District Governor Bob Hagan. "During 9 rounds of chemotherapy, I had to have 8 pints of blood . Friends gave, family gave , Rotarians gave . YOU giving blood saved my life and many others. We must have an ample supply of blood of all different types . I encourage all of us to give blood, it does save lives. We together , make a difference, just like Rotary makes a difference. We save lives."

As if Bob and other Rotarian's stories aren't enough inspiration to donate, Gate City Brewery is offering a "Pint for a Pint," for members, members' employees, friends and family who register for a time to donate blood. Donate a pint of blood, and receive a pint a coupon for Freedom Fighter or any other Gate City libation.

BONUSES: COVID-19 test is done are part of the screening process. And Red Cross will send you an Amazon gift card as a 'thank you' (that you could in turn donate to HomeStretch).

Click here to reserve 60 minutes on Sep 17 to donate. For more information, contact Darrell Bartlett or Hal Schlenger.

Our thanks to Pat Rains and Michael Curling for their current and past help saving lives in our community.
