New Member Spotlight: Stephen Clausen

Education: Valdosta State & Kennesaw State -Finance Major
Where He is From: Stephen has lived his entire life in Roswell, GA. And also visited over 40 countries.
Spouse:  Emily Clausen, they are High School sweet-hearts. Been together  20 years and married for 12
Kids:   2.5 Children, Adaline – 4 and Sutton 2 and one on the way (Emily is 11 weeks pregnant)

Other involvement in community: 
  • Small group leader with North Point Church for about 12 years.
  • Currently leading a Men’s group that has been together for 5 years.  
  • Volunteers at Homestretch and North Fulton Charities    
  • Mentors young men/women getting ready to leave college and enter their career.

Career:

  • Kimberly Clark for the past 10 years in Strategy, Pricing, Global Finance and Global Sales.
  • Slide Co. LLC about 1.5 years ago manufacturing and selling American made goods online, mostly on Amazon US and Canada, Walmart and Wayfair employing people in the community who need a “chance” or a “second-chance”
Interesting Things about Stephen:    Passions are gardening (has a half acre vegetable garden), tennis and hanging with his girls
Why he joined Rotary: "I joined Rotary to meet other business leaders in Roswell as well as to make a difference in the community I grew up in".
