World Polio Day
NAPA Shares the Rotary Story on World Polio Day

On October 22, North Atlanta Professional Alliance members marked World Polio Day together at OCA-Georgia's Autumn Gala, “Leadership in Action,” at Oriental Pearl Restaurant in Chamblee. With our NAPA World Polio Day sign at our tables, members shared Rotary's story with fellow guests and gathered for a group photo to celebrate the fight to end polio. Sharing that story in a room full of community and business leaders is exactly what World Polio Day is for.

NAPA members also came together for a group donation to the PolioPlus Fund, where every dollar is matched 2-to-1 by the Gates Foundation. It builds on the $1,500 gift NAPA presented in July to support the District 6900 Foundation and PolioPlus during District Governor Cynthia Dorsey Edwards' official visit.

Thank you to Chris Chan for hosting our tables, to OCA-Georgia for a wonderful evening, and to every member who gave and helped spread the word. Together, we are this close to a polio-free world.
