Growing Membership: Increasing Rotary’s Impact

Across the globe, Rotary is focused on increasing our membership - among Rotarians and Rotaractors. Rotary’s ability to serve begins with its members. Across District 6900—from metro Atlanta to communities throughout western and southwest Georgia—attracting new members brings fresh energy, new ideas, and more hands to meet local needs. Growth is not simply about increasing numbers; it is about expanding our capacity to create lasting change.

New members help clubs reflect the communities they serve. By welcoming people of different professions, life experiences, ages, and neighborhoods, our clubs gain broader perspectives and stronger connections. That diversity helps District 6900 identify emerging needs, build effective partnerships, and design service projects that remain relevant.

We need your help. Every Rotarian has a role in membership growth. A personal invitation to a meeting, service project, or social event can open the door for someone who wants to make a difference but may not know how to begin. Just as important, a warm welcome, meaningful involvement, and opportunities to lead can turn a first visit into a lasting commitment.

This month, invite one person to experience Rotary. When we share the fellowship, purpose, and service that define District 6900, we strengthen our clubs today and help ensure that “Service Above Self” continues across Georgia for generations to come.
