East Cobb's Dog Days Run Raises $77,550 for Community

The Rotary Club of East Cobb celebrated another successful Dog Days Run on August 8, marking the 21st year of this signature community event.

This year, approximately 625 runners participated, including 608 pre-registered runners and 17 race-day registrations. Even more exciting, the club secured $77,550 in sponsorship contributions, which will help support local charities and organizations serving Cobb County and surrounding communities.

The growth and longevity of Dog Days demonstrate what Rotary can accomplish through strong community partnerships. In 2006, the race welcomed 202 runners and generated $13,100 in sponsorships. Twenty years later, the event continues to bring together Rotarians, local businesses, volunteers, families and runners around a shared purpose - Service Above Self.

We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, runners, volunteers, and fellow Rotarians who make this event possible year after year. Their generosity allows the Rotary Club of East Cobb to turn one morning of fun and fellowship into meaningful impact throughout our community.
