It's Personal
The decision to become an organ donor is an individual one. Personally, I cannot say I ever thought about it. I signed up to be and organ donor when I turned 16 and got my driver's license because it was the right thing to do.
But now, it is different. Had my donor not made the choice to selflessly give the gift of life, I may not be here today. They tell me I did not have long...
And so begins Beth's story of life and death and the gift of life from an organ donor. Thursday, hear Beth's story as only she can tell it. As well as information about others who have donated organs. Our own John Albers is a vivid example. Who can forget the picture of John and his son Will on their way to surgery for their kidney transplant?
Roswell Rotarian Kathy Igou's boss at Turknett Leadership Group, Tim Huff, recently donated a kidney-to a client! When we talk about service above self, live organ donations take service to another level!
Come hear Beth's story and learn more about live organ donations. This would be a great meeting to bring along a friend!
