Joining Rotary in 2019, Darrell Bartlett was no stranger to Rotarian engagement. Having been a member of his high school’s Interact Club, he was cognizant of the greater acts of Rotarian service with community at large as well as with local charity involvement.
Though he graduated from Western Carolina University, he is a huge fan of Ohio State University Football (Darrell proudly notes: 2024 National Champs). It’s a familial thing, after all, being a native of Kenton, Ohio and indoctrinated by family members hailing OSU!
As a Strategic Account Executive for Allegion Company, a manufacturer of door hardware in the national commercial and residential construction business, Darrell has developed and leads national wholesalers for the company. Working for this company for over 38 years in various management assignments, he started in the Carolinas, moving on to Chicago and then finally to Atlanta. He enjoys building good working relationships as key to creating solid business opportunities.
Outside of the office, Darrell is an avid golfer and reader. Having lived in Roswell for the past 28 years, he has been very involved with his community, volunteering as a sports coach for many of the local sports organizations. Additionally, he spends volunteer time working in local politics and has served at the Aviation Wing Museum in Cobb County. In Roswell Rotary, he is well known for his volunteerism and his endless efforts on behalf of the Blood Drives.
Married to Claire with 3 adult sons and one mutt, they attend Christ Church of Atlanta, sans the dog. Without question, the Bartlett family is currently faced with the gravest test of humankind: serious illness while sustaining equilibrium in the face of it all. For certain, Darrell’s Rotary family is present with willing heart, compassion and unending support.
