David “Asch” Aschenbach has joined Roswell Rotary Club as a son and grandson of Ohio Rotarians who left a legacy of service. Earning a degree in Business and Finance from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, Asch went on to work for IBM as a Sales Leader. Retiring in May, 2025 after 38 years, Asch stepped into a new role as Advancement Officer for the Kidz2leaders organization where he had previously volunteered for 12 years.
Married for 33 years to Amy, a coach for Starhouse third graders, they moved from Cincinnati to East Cobb in 2006, then to Roswell in 2018. Enduring the loss of their son Ryan in 2012, they have 2 daughters, Summer and April, a son, Zach, and 3 granddaughters, Zoey, Liz and Mya. As an avid tennis player and golfer, Asch should feel right at home assisting in the RRC annual Golf, Tennis and Pickleball Tournament next September!
Fun fact: As foster parents, Asch and Amy (and their boys) adopted 2 sisters, aged 10 and 11…people thought they were crazy (yes, crazy about these 2 girls!)
