
Over the past 10 years, Janelle King has built her career in politics, from volunteering on campaigns to running them. She is the former Deputy State Director for the Georgia Republican Party. Currently Janelle is Managing Partner of Kestrel Strategies LLC, where she is contracted as a Government Affairs Officer with the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) and the Osprey Management Construction firm. Janelle is a top consultant to the G.O.P. for community engagement, public affairs, and diversity initiatives. She is also a former board member for The League of Women Voters Atlanta-Fulton Chapter, and former Vice President of Political Affairs and board member for the Atlanta Young Republicans. She is the former Community Affairs Director/Board Member of the Georgia Young Republicans, and former Chair of the Georgia Black Republican Council. Today she serves on the board for Nana Grants.
Janelle is a native of New Haven, Connecticut and graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University.
