Drake House Ice Cream Social

Alpharetta Rotary supported the Drake House annual Ice Cream Social. The Drake House is a not for profit whose mission is to provide short term crisis housing, assessment, support and empowerment to homeless mothers and their children. The Ice Cream Crankin’ brings together local civic, faith and business groups for an old fashioned ice cream social, offering over 150 flavors of homemade ice cream and celebrity judges to rate the best flavors. Alpharetta Rotarians crafted their best favored ice creams and shared with the those who came out for the event. Twelve Rotarians and family members manned a booth and served homemade ice cream. While we didn't win for best favor, we got lots of compliments and we helped the Drake House reach and exceed their goal of raising over $50Kattending the event.
