GSU Rotaract Sponsors Race to Support the Homeless - November 10

RotaractGSU/RotaryGSU is running the race, competing for the prize, the imperishable crown, one that will not fade away, and running with a purpose. The “Race To Erase Homelessness” will take place on Saturday Nov 10 at 8:00 a.m. - from the Georgia Capitol to Piedmont Park. Our goal is a 5k Race to “Feed the 5,000”, the “least among us” in a Thanksgiving Season that will truly be a “hand up” and not just a “handout." This is a Rotary Sustainable Model for Metro areas to address homelessness.

All Metro Atlanta Rotary Clubs may participate in several ways:

  • Encourage our next generation Rotarians, our youth, and teach them by example the “Rotary Way"
  • Sell Race Entry Fee Tickets($35) and get 50% ($17.50) to benefit your own Rotary Club’s Indigent outreach
  • Make a personal tax deductible donation to RotaractGSU (see use of proceeds below) - our Georgia 501C3 Non Profit organization
  • Volunteer for the event staff, setup, service, and takedown
  • Distribute Water along race route to promote your Rotary Club
  • Participate in the 50/50 Raffle ($15)for 1 st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash winners
