Join North Cobb for a BBQ Competition at the Lake!

The Rotary Club of North Cobb (RCNC) is sponsoring its 10^th Annual Smoke on the Lake BBQ Festival on Lake Acworth at Cauble Park on Friday evening, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, 2019.

Amateur Cook Teams will compete for money, recognition, very nice prizes and bragging rights. Twenty teams compete with chicken wings, chicken and pork. There is an entry fee but all meat is supplied by North Cobb Rotary.

There is a great concert on Friday night and assuming good weather about 8,000 people attend and "judge" the wings, pork and chicken. The attendees will decide on the Taster contests and Georgia BBQ Association judges decide on the regular BBQ competition.

RCNC believes it fields the best BBQ teams based on past results and would like to issue a “Rotary Challenge” to any Rotary Club BBQ Team in Georgia that thinks they can compete with the best.
