Recently the Rotary Club of Thomasville had a special program highlighting Black History Month. DG Court Dowis was on hand for the occasion and the club's speaker was Stephen Ferguson, who is employed by the National Park Service at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Park in Atlanta. Ferguson honored Dr. King and his legacy, and delivered parts of the "I Have a Dream" speech.

DG Court also passed out awards to African American leaders in our community as part of the program. Mr. Ferguson was indeed Martin Luther King, Jr., a spell binding speech!
